Teen Success Coach (Getting you first/next job)
Top 15 Jobs For Teens In 2025 And How to Win One
By Larry Randolph, a.k.a. YB (The Teen Success Coach)
Let’s make one thing clear—getting a job in 2025 isn’t the goal.
Winning the right job, with a strategy, and turning it into a stepping stone toward your future?
That’s the goal.
I’m not here to just throw job titles at you—I’m here to help you walk into this job market with confidence, clarity, and a plan that stretches beyond a paycheck.
In 2025, there are more ways to earn money than ever before—retail, food service, tutoring, tech, design, even digital gigs you can do from your phone. And that’s great. But here’s what most teens don’t know:

That’s the goal.
I’m not here to just throw job titles at you—I’m here to help you walk into this job market with confidence, clarity, and a plan that stretches beyond a paycheck.
In 2025, there are more ways to earn money than ever before—retail, food service, tutoring, tech, design, even digital gigs you can do from your phone. And that’s great. But here’s what most teens don’t know:
The market is watching you.
And it’s crowded with other teens who want the same thing you do.
If you want to stand out—and get hired—you need more than just a list of jobs.
You need preparation. You need positioning. And you need a coach who’s been on the other side of the hiring table.
That’s me. Let’s break this down.
📍 Step One: Know What You’re Walking Into
Jobs in 2025 fall into three lanes:
- Traditional (like retail, food service, and summer camp)
- Digital (like tutoring, social media, web support)
- Emerging/Green (like sustainability, tech support, online events)
All of them can teach you something—but only if you approach them with intention.
You don’t have to pick your forever job. You just need to pick the one that helps you grow right now.
📍 Step Two: Know How to Show Up
Before you ever hit “apply,” ask yourself:
- Do I have a resume? (Even a basic one?)
- Have I researched the company?
- Have I cleaned up my social media?
- Do I have my work permit and references ready?
- Can I give better-than-average answers in an interview?
If you can’t say yes to those yet—good.
That’s why I’m here.
📍 Step Three: Know What Employers Are Really Looking For
They’re not just hiring bodies. They’re hiring presence. Dependability. Coachability.
When you work with me, I help you step into your interview with all of that showing.
Because you’re not just applying for a job…
You’re applying to be someone’s next hire.
📍 Step Four: Build Toward What Comes Next
If you’re in 11th or 12th grade, this job is just your first chess move.
The goal? To learn the habits, tools, and mindset that lead you to becoming a successful, self-sustained young adult.
That’s why I’m not stopping at job prep.
I’m creating a Financial Power Club—a space where serious teens learn how to earn, save, invest, and build real income.
Not later. Now.
Your Next Move
I’m offering a free 20-minute consultation to teens who are serious about working with a coach that can walk them through every step—
From job search…
To interview prep…
