I started selling weed. My son was on the way, and I felt like I had no options. I thought hustling was the only way to be “the man.” And for a while, I was.
Until I almost lost my life in a deal gone bad—nearly pulling a gun on someone I grew up with.
That moment shook me.
I could’ve ended up dead—or locked in a cell.
