Conversations
with Humanity

Work for the man who has learned how to carry it.

Conversations with Humanity is the home of Larry Y.B.’s books. Future You is the body of work: a recognition experience, a companion journal and a three-minute morning practice, all made for men who carry a great deal — and for the people who love them.

Why this work exists

Not to fix the boy.
Not to find someone to blame.

But to recognize what may have been traveling with the man all along.

A boy doesn’t call those things patterns. He simply discovers what seems to work: handle it yourself, stay ready, keep moving, be useful. And sometimes what worked becomes so familiar that years later it no longer feels like something he learned. It feels like “This is just who I am.”

Our books create room to look at that differently. Not with judgment. With recognition.

Meet the author

The man who made it work.

Larry Y.B. spent more than thirty years building businesses as an operator. He now works with high-capacity men on the next part of their lives, because nobody runs on empty.

The work began with a phone call. A close friend — sixty-seven, a millionaire, a man who never stopped reaching — was gone. Larry saw himself in him: the same loop, the same belief that there was more time.

That call ended the running for me. It replaced it with the smallest thing I could do — three minutes in the morning, before the phone, choosing what goes into my mind first.

— Larry Y.B.

Small is the only thing that survives.

What we believe

Four ideas behind every page.

01

The boy gets heard. The man decides.

Recognition comes first. But the man you are today always keeps the decision about what belongs in the life he is building.

02

Little boys don’t create prisons. They create shelters.

What you’ve been calling a wall, weakness or problem may have begun as something very different. Some of it may have become strength.

03

A place to notice, not a place to be fixed.

You don’t have to uncover something painful. You don’t have to manufacture a breakthrough. You are simply invited to notice.

04

Small is the only thing that survives.

One day. One page. Three minutes. Before the phone, before everybody else gets a vote.

What this is.

A recognition and reflection experience.

A place to notice.

A place to capture.

A place to look at something familiar and perhaps ask a different question.

What this isn’t.

It isn’t therapy. It isn’t counseling.

It isn’t diagnosis or treatment.

It isn’t an attempt to explain your childhood.

And it isn’t a promise that five Movements will suddenly change everything.

You don’t have to become someone else. You are simply being invited to notice — and you decide how far you want to go.

Conversations with Humanity

The light is still there.

Maybe something that protected you once still serves you.
Maybe something that protected you once is costing you now.
Maybe something you thought was gone has simply been quiet.

You don’t have to decide all of that before you begin.
Just open the door. Go back. Look. Listen.

And if you find him — bring him home.
